Fatal Crash in Versailles Leaves One Dead

In a tragic incident, one person has lost their life while another is currently receiving medical treatment after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lexington Road and Lavall Heights. The Versailles police responded promptly to the scene late Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, one individual involved in the collision was rushed to Bluegrass Community Hospital but was later pronounced dead. As of now, their identity remains undisclosed pending notification of next-of-kin. Meanwhile, another occupant from the same vehicle was transported to UK hospital; however, no information regarding their condition has been released yet.

Fortunately, the person traveling in the other involved vehicle sustained only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
