The driver of the car was killed in the crash.

Officials have closed the off-ramp onto southbound Phoenix Avenue from Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in Jacksonville, Florida, following a fatal crash on Wednesday morning. According to the Jacksonville police, a dump truck rolled over on a car, killing the driver. The dump truck remains on top of the car, and the driver has not been identified at this time.

All directions of Phoenix Avenue at Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway will be closed for a "prolonged period of time," officials said. Investigators are working to determine what led to the crash.

The incident occurred at around 1:26 p.m., and the lanes have since reopened.
