One Person Dead in Phoenix Five-Car Pileup

One person did not survive their injuries.
On Saturday afternoon, a five-car pileup occurred near 67th Avenue and Coolidge Street in Phoenix. The collision happened just south of Camelback Road at around 12:45 p.m., with at least one vehicle rolling over.
According to reports, ten people were hospitalized as a result of the accident. Unfortunately, one person did not survive their injuries.
Phoenix Fire released details about the surviving patients and the severity of their injuries:
"Of the nine remaining patients, three are critical but stable condition, four are serious but stable condition, and two have non-life-threatening injuries."
Police are still investigating what caused the crash. As a result of the incident, 67th Avenue is currently shut down between Camelback Road and Hazelwood Street in both directions.
