One Man Dead, Two Severely Injured in Dartmouth Collision

One fatality, two severe injuries
One man has tragically lost his life and two others have been severely injured in a head-on collision that occurred in Dartmouth, Massachusetts on Sunday afternoon. According to the local police, the incident took place at approximately 3:45 p.m. near 242 Chase Rd.
The collision involved two vehicles: a 2006 Cadillac Seville driven by an unidentified man and a 2015 GMC Acadia driven by an 82-year-old male with a female passenger aged 75. The exact circumstances leading up to the crash remain unknown as authorities continue their investigation.
Following the accident, emergency services swiftly arrived at the scene. The driver of the Cadillac was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital located in New Bedford; however, his identity is being withheld until positive identification can be made. Tragically, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The elderly driver of the GMC Acadia and his female passenger were also transported to St. Luke's Hospital for medical treatment. Although they sustained serious injuries, fortunately their lives are not believed to be in immediate danger.
Dartmouth police are actively investigating this devastating incident in order to determine its cause and any contributing factors that may have led to this tragic outcome.
