Colorado State Patrol Seeks Help in Locating Driver Involved in Fatal Hit and Run Crash

The Colorado State Patrol is asking for the public's assistance in locating a driver involved in a hit and run crash that resulted in multiple fatalities. The incident occurred on Friday at around 5 p.m. on Highway 287, south of Larimer County.

According to witnesses, two vehicles - a dark red or maroon pickup truck and a Camaro - were potentially road raging before the collision. The pick-up truck can be seen hitting the side of the Camaro on video footage, causing it to spin into oncoming traffic where it was struck by a Toyota Tundra.

Tragically, those inside the Camaro were pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the Tundra sustained serious injuries. Officials have confirmed that the pick-up truck fled from the site of accident.

As investigators work to learn more about both vehicle and driver involved, they are appealing for anyone with information regarding this case to come forward. If you have any details which could assist with their investigation please contact Colorado State Patrol Dispatch at 303-239-4501 immediately.
