A tragic motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday night has resulted in the death of one person, according to authorities from the Oneida County Sheriffs. The incident took place in the town of Bridgewater on Route 8.
At approximately 8:13 p.m., sheriffs responded to the scene and shut down the southbound lane of Route 8 as they conducted their investigation. However, it has been reported that the roadway is now fully open to traffic.
The identity of the deceased individual has not yet been released pending further investigation. Authorities are working diligently to gather all necessary information related to this incident.
