Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash in Wellsville, NY Leaves Courtney Clark Dead and Joeie Greenman Injured

New York State Troopers Investigate Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash in Wellsville
On Friday evening, a fatal motor vehicle crash occurred in the town of Wellsville, New York. According to reports from the New York State Police, 17-year-old Joeie Greenman of Alma was driving westbound on State Route 417 when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2013 Ford.
The driver of the Ford has been identified as Courtney Clark, a 32-year-old resident of Emporium, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, Clark was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, Greenman sustained serious injuries and was transported via Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
To investigate this tragic incident further, both the Collision Reconstruction Unit and Bureau of Criminal Investigation have assisted state troopers in their efforts. As it stands now though, authorities say that their investigation remains ongoing.
This is an incredibly sad event that has undoubtedly left many people reeling from its aftermath. Our thoughts go out to all those affected by this tragedy during what must be an incredibly difficult time for them all.
