Loraine Dicuffa Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Manorville

Loraine Dicuffa was pronounced dead at the hospital, while Delio Dicuffa was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious physical injuries. The driver of the BMW was not injured.
A fatal accident occurred in Manorville on Sunday, June 18th. According to Suffolk County Police, a Shirley woman was driving her BMW southbound on Wading River Road when she attempted to make a left turn onto South Street. Unfortunately, the car collided with a Kawasaki motorcycle that was traveling northbound through the intersection.
The driver of the motorcycle, Delio Dicuffa (50), and his wife Loraine Dicuffa (49) were both ejected from their vehicle upon impact. Tragically, Loraine Dicuffa did not survive and was pronounced dead at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where she had been transported by ambulance. Her husband Delio suffered serious physical injuries and was taken via helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the BMW involved in the crash did not sustain any injuries. The police are currently investigating this incident and urge anyone with information about it to contact them at 631-852-8752.
