23-year-old Poughkeepsie Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident

The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department is currently investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred on Monday evening. According to reports, the incident took place at around 5:29 p.m. and involved a Toyota SUV and a Honda Motorcycle driven by a 23-year-old man from Poughkeepsie.
Unfortunately, the young motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s Office. The police have not yet released his name to the public.
The crash happened on State Route 55 near Machester Road in Poughkeepsie. Emergency services including members of Arlington Fire Department, Mobile Life Support Services, and Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
