Fatal Motorcycle Crash Closes Road in Seymour

A road in Sevier County, Tennessee has been closed due to a fatal crash involving a motorcycle. The Seymour Volunteer Fire Department posted on social media about the accident that occurred on Wednesday evening at Chapman Highway near Macon Lane.
The identity of the person or people involved in the crash is unknown, and it is unclear how many individuals were affected. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
According to Mark Nagi, spokesperson for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, all lanes have reopened as of 10:19 p.m. This news comes after part of the road was closed off following the accident.
