63-Year-Old Lakeville Man Dies in Freeborn County Motorcycle Crash

The State Patrol has confirmed that a fatal motorcycle crash occurred this morning in Freeborn County, Minnesota. Troopers were called to the scene of the accident on I-35 at around 11:30 AM.
"The victim was driving a motorcycle south on I-35 when he lost control and crashed into the median barrier," said the State Patrol. The incident took place just three miles north of the Iowa border and approximately five miles south of Albert Lea.
While very little information has been released about the victim or his identity, authorities have disclosed that he was a 63-year-old man from Lakeville. At this time, it is unclear what caused him to lose control of his vehicle.
The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing and further details will be provided as they become available.
