Driver of White Toyota Corolla Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash on AA Highway

Driver of the Ford was taken to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the Kia was uninjured.
According to the Kentucky State Police, a fatal accident occurred on Friday morning in Bracken County. The driver of a white 2018 Toyota Corolla died after crossing the center line and hitting a red 2021 Ford Explorer head-on. Detective Matthew Purvis was traveling on the AA Highway when he saw multiple vehicles blocking the road due to the accident.
Troopers say that an additional vehicle, a gray 2023 Kia K5, also had damage from the crash but did not hit either car involved in the collision. The driver of the Ford was taken to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries while the driver of Kia remained uninjured.
The cause of this tragic incident is still under investigation by authorities.
