Fatal Rollover Crash on I-5 Offramp in Marysville

One fatality
One person was killed in a rollover crash on the southbound Interstate 5 offramp to State Route 528 in Marysville, Washington. The crash occurred at around 2:30 a.m. and the ramp was closed for investigation until approximately 9 a.m. Troopers revealed that they had received a request for spike strips and assistance with a pursuit, but arrived to find the crash scene instead. The area was heavily foggy, making it difficult to see the mangled car on its side up an embankment. It appears that only one car was involved in the incident. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office and Marysville Police are leading the investigation.
