Fatal Semi-Trailer Rollover Accident on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City

One fatality, one injured
A tragic accident occurred on Thursday morning in Oklahoma City, resulting in the death of one person and injury to another. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a semi-trailer rolled over on Interstate 40 near Anderson Road around 5:25 a.m.
The incident caused the semi-trailer to block the eastbound lanes. As a result, westbound I-40 was temporarily reduced to one lane while crews worked diligently to clear the scene. Fortunately, those lanes have since reopened.
Investigations concluded that the driver of the semi-trailer had drifted onto the shoulder and attempted to correct their course but ended up causing the vehicle to roll over. At the time of impact, two individuals were inside the semi-trailer.
When the semi-trailer rolled over, it partially ejected its driver through his passenger-side window before coming to rest on top of him. Regrettably, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger sustained injuries but is currently in good condition after being transported to a nearby hospital.
The deceased driver has been identified as Sonu Nehra from Fresno, California who was only twenty-six years old.
