One driver killed, another with life-threatening injuries

A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday morning in southwestern Minnesota when two semi-trucks collided at an intersection, resulting in one driver's death and leaving another fighting for his life.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 8:23 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 30 and County Road 5 in Adrian Township. The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Dylan Robert Maas from Sleepy Eye. Sadly, Maas did not survive the crash. The other driver involved is Cody James Crowley, a 32-year-old resident of Golden Valley who sustained life-threatening injuries. He is currently receiving treatment at HCMC (Hennepin County Medical Center) located in Minneapolis.

The state patrol is actively investigating the incident to determine its cause and gather more details surrounding this devastating collision.
