Fatal Single-Car Crash in South Windsor

Driver pronounced dead at the scene
Early Wednesday morning, a tragic single-car crash near the intersection of Nevers and Graham roads in South Windsor, Connecticut resulted in the death of the driver. According to police reports, a passerby contacted authorities at approximately 1:16 a.m. to report the accident.
It was determined that the driver of an Audi sedan was the sole occupant of the vehicle and had unfortunately passed away. The identity of the deceased has been established but will not be released until proper family notifications have been made.
Investigations into this incident revealed that earlier on during Tuesday night, a South Windsor police officer had attempted to stop the Audi after witnessing it commit a motor vehicle violation. However, their attempt proved unsuccessful as they were unable to apprehend or detain the driver.
In light of these findings, Metro Traffic Services has joined forces with local law enforcement agencies to assist with further investigations into this fatal crash.
