Driver Dies in Single-Vehicle Crash on Highway 14 in Greenville County

Driver died from their injuries at the scene of the crash
One person died on Wednesday afternoon following a single-vehicle crash along Highway 14 in Greenville County. The South Carolina Highway Patrol stated that the accident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. near East King Road.
The vehicle, an SUV traveling eastbound on Highway 14, went off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail before colliding with an embankment and then a tree. Unfortunately, the driver did not survive their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Authorities have yet to release any information regarding what may have caused this tragic incident. It is also unclear whether or not there were any other passengers involved in the accident.
