Driver Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash Involving Commercial Dump Truck in Mansfield

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Friday afternoon in Mansfield. According to reports, the accident involved a commercial dump truck and resulted in the death of its driver.
Troopers arrived at Interstate 71 near State Route 39 around 12:40 p.m., where they found the overturned Mack dump truck engulfed in flames. The preliminary investigation suggests that the accident was caused by a suspected front tire blowout, causing the vehicle to veer off-road and hit a guardrail before overturning down an embankment.
Unfortunately, the driver of the truck has not been identified but sustained fatal injuries as a result of this tragic incident. Authorities are still investigating this case to determine all factors contributing to this deadly crash.
