Fatal Traffic Accident on Highway 165 in Fort Mitchell

A tragic single-vehicle accident on Highway 165 in Fort Mitchell has resulted in the death of 71-year-old Patricia Klein from Pittsview, Alabama and another individual injured. According to Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry, the female driver involved in the incident was pronounced dead at the scene around 5:30 p.m.
Emergency services promptly transported an injured individual who had also been present in the vehicle, to Piedmont for medical treatment. However, no further information about their current state has been released thus far.
Authorities are actively investigating this incident to determine its cause and any contributing factors that may have played a role in this devastating accident on Highway 165.
