Fatal Two-Vehicle Accident in Fort Payne Leaves One Person Dead

A fatal two-vehicle accident occurred on Friday morning in Fort Payne, Alabama. According to the Fort Payne Police Department (FPPD), the incident took place at around 10:38 a.m. near the intersection of Briarwood Avenue and Glenn Boulevard Southwest.
FPPD Captain David Barnes confirmed that one person died as a result of the crash. However, no details about their identity have been released yet as authorities are still notifying their next of kin.
The FPPD has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident, but no further information is available at this time.
