One fatality, two non-life-threatening injuries
A tragic two-vehicle collision on Tuesday evening has left one person dead and two others hospitalized. The incident occurred at the intersection of North Lynndale Drive and West Broadway Drive in the Town of Grand Chute.
The Grand Chute Police Department responded to a report of a crash shortly before 4:30 p.m. According to preliminary investigations, a dump truck traveling southbound on North Lynndale Drive collided with a passenger van, causing the dump truck to overturn.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene only to find that the driver of the passenger van had succumbed to their injuries. However, both a passenger from the van and the dump truck's driver were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities have closed off the intersection of North Lynndale Drive and West Broadway Drive as they continue their investigation into this tragic incident. It is expected that it will remain closed for several hours.
