Edcouch, Texas - A tragic two-vehicle crash in Edcouch has claimed the life of a woman, according to local authorities. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning along Highway 107, west of Mile 2.
The Edcouch Police Department confirmed that an 87-year-old woman lost her life as a result of the collision. In addition to the fatality, two women and a 5-year-old boy were injured and promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
At this time, law enforcement officials have not released any information regarding the identities or conditions of those involved in the accident. Investigators are currently gathering statements from witnesses and individuals who were taken to the hospital.
