One Person Killed in Work Truck Crash in Frederick County
A tragic accident occurred on Wednesday in Frederick County, Maryland, resulting in the death of one person and injuring a passenger. The incident took place on eastbound I-70, just before Exit 42 (MD 17), according to Maryland State Police.
Preliminary investigations by authorities revealed that the work truck was traveling east on I-70 when it veered off the road and collided with a guardrail. The exact cause of the crash is still unknown at this time.
Tragically, the driver succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, emergency services rushed a 30-year-old male passenger to a nearby hospital for treatment of his injuries. The extent of his injuries has not been disclosed.
