Washington Father and Three Children Found Dead in Idaho River

A family of four from Spokane, Washington who were reported missing over the weekend have been found dead in a car that was submerged in an Idaho river. The father and his three children were identified as 36-year-old Calvin “CJ” Miller, 17-year-old Dakota, 10-year-old Jack and 8-year-old Delihia by the Idaho County Coroner.
The family had been on a road trip to visit relatives when they were reported overdue on Saturday. A few hours later, their overturned car was discovered by a fisherman in the Salmon River north of Riggins, Idaho.
The mother of the children, Amber Miller did not accompany them on this trip. The coroner’s office expressed condolences for the tragic loss saying: “Our hearts are broken for this family and our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.”
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help cover funeral expenses which has raised more than $10,000 as of Monday evening. The fundraiser stated: “Anything and everything helps with this heartbreaking process...Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
Calvin Miller worked as a pet groomer at Dee's Dog Grooming where he was well-liked by colleagues.
