Fiery Crash Involving Car Hauler Causes Traffic Back-Up on Interstate 69 in Grant County

Truck driver sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital
Traffic came to a standstill on Tuesday morning along Interstate 69 in Grant County following a fiery crash involving a car hauler.
The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-69 near exit 264 when a car hauler carrying multiple vehicles overturned on the highway. The exact cause of the crash remains unknown at this time.
Emergency services quickly responded to the scene and transported the truck driver to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Fortunately, they were released later that day.
While authorities from the Indiana State Police (ISP) did not provide an estimated duration for road closure, motorists were advised to seek alternative routes until further notice.
Initial reports suggested that three semis were involved in the accident; however, state police have since confirmed that only one car hauler was affected.
Investigations into what caused this unfortunate incident are still ongoing as officials work diligently to gather all necessary information.
