The popular Rochester-based Fleetwood Mac tribute band known as "The Seven Wonders" has been forced to cancel their scheduled show in Syracuse on Thursday due to a car crash. The incident took place around 3 p.m. in the town of Farmington, according to the New York State Police.

Authorities report that the vehicle, which was towing a trailer, veered off the road for reasons yet unknown and entered the center median before colliding with a tree and overturning. Fortunately, none of the injuries sustained by three passengers were life-threatening.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified as Jonathan J. Sheffer (40), another resident of Rochester. Scheffer received a traffic ticket as a result of his involvement in causing this accident.

Two residents of Rochester identified as Matthew M. Stephens (43) and Matthew Ramerman (42) were transported via ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Additionally, Kathryn A. Eberts (40), also from Rochester, was airlifted to Upstate Medical Center as a precautionary measure due to concerns about a possible spinal injury.

In an update posted on their Facebook page on Friday, The Seven Wonders shared that they are investigating whether there may have been a mechanical malfunction involved in the accident since they experienced unresponsiveness with the controls during the crash.

According to their statement, Stephens suffered broken ribs and a minor vertebral injury while Eberts underwent spinal surgery but is currently in stable condition.

Middle Ages Brewing, where the performance was supposed to take place, has announced that tickets purchased online will be automatically refunded within five business days.
