Emergency personnel responded to a multiple vehicle accident on Interstate 80 near mile marker 146 Eastbound during rush hour today at approximately 5:15 p.m. The incident involved three vehicles and two tow-behind camping trailers, one of which flipped over.
The Park City Fire District (PCFD) swiftly dispatched Medic Engine 37, Medic Ambulance 37, Medic Engine 35, Ambulance 35, Engine 33 and the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) to the scene. Their prompt response ensured that all patients involved in the accident were attended to promptly.
Fortunately, despite the severity of the crash, all individuals sustained only minor injuries. They signed medical releases and are reported to be doing well.
As investigations into the cause of this multi-vehicle accident continue by law enforcement officials and insurance agencies alike; it serves as a reminder for drivers everywhere to exercise caution while on the roadways.
