Four Dead in Two Vehicle Crash

Four people declared dead, one person injured and treated at the scene.
Four people have tragically lost their lives in a fatal car crash that occurred on Tuesday evening in eastern Nebraska. The incident took place at around 8:30 p.m. along Highway 63, approximately two miles east of Greenwood.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the collision. However, Mark Sobota, the Fire Chief of Greenwood, revealed to NCN news partner 1011 Now that at least one individual was ejected from their vehicle during the accident.
Tragically, four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Additionally, another person sustained injuries and received treatment at the accident site.
In response to this devastating incident, authorities closed off a two-mile section of Highway 63 in both directions for several hours while they conducted investigations and attended to those affected by the tragedy.
The Nebraska State Patrol is leading an investigation into this heartbreaking event with support from the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
