Four Injured in Crash Involving Wichita Police Officer

Four people taken to the hospital with minor injuries
The Wichita Police Department (WPD) has confirmed that four individuals were taken to the hospital following a crash in east Wichita. The incident occurred at approximately 7:25 p.m. on Sunday evening near the intersection of Kellogg and Oliver.
According to WPD, two officers in a patrol car were responding to an officer-in-trouble call when the accident took place. Despite having their lights and sirens activated, the officers collided with another vehicle while passing through the Kellogg and Oliver intersection.
The impact caused the patrol car to overturn and collide with yet another vehicle. All four individuals involved, including both officers from the patrol car and two other drivers, were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their injuries are reported as minor.
Sedgwick County dispatch has also confirmed that one person sustained serious injuries while two others suffered only minor injuries as a result of this crash involving a Wichita Police officer.
The collision occurred around 7:30 p.m.
