Two Children Among Four Injured in Single-Car Accident on Interstate 670

Two children in serious condition, others with minor injuries
Four people were injured and a section of Interstate 670 in Columbus, Ohio was temporarily closed following a single-car accident on Monday night. The incident occurred on I-670 West near State Route 315 at around 9 p.m.
According to Columbus police dispatchers, a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado collided with a guardrail and overturned. Two children, aged 8 and 13, who were passengers in the truck were ejected during the crash. They were immediately transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. One child was listed in critical condition while the other remained in serious condition, as reported by Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Jeffery Geiter.
An adult passenger and a teenager, aged 15, also sustained minor injuries and were taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle received medical attention at the scene.
In response to the accident, authorities temporarily closed I-670 westbound near SR-315 along with all on-ramps onto I-670. However, these closures have since been lifted. Despite this development, an investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
