Four People Ejected From Single-Vehicle Windham Crash

Four people were transported to Massachusetts and New Hampshire hospitals with what were described as potentially severe and life-threatening injuries.
New Hampshire State Police, Windham and Derry Fire, and NH DOT worked at the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 93 south just south of Exit 3 on Friday. The accident occurred at about 1 p.m. at Mile Marker 5 and resulted in four people being ejected from the vehicle.
According to reports, the Kia Sorento had veered from the far left of the highway crossing all lanes and exiting the roadway on the right side. When leaving the highway it rolled over several times, ejecting the occupants and items from inside the car.
The four people were transported to Massachusetts and New Hampshire hospitals with what were described as potentially severe and life-threatening injuries. The accident caused the closure of the right travel lanes, resulting in traffic being backed up for miles on Interstate 93.
New Hampshire State Police remained at the scene investigating for several hours. They were taking measurements and utilizing a drone to document the scene spread across a large area. The accident scene was cleared at about 5:30 p.m., according to state police.
