Four People Injured in Four-Vehicle Crash on I-84 in Danbury

Four people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The highway was closed for about an hour and has since reopened.
A four-vehicle crash caused a major disruption on Interstate 84 West in Danbury, Connecticut on Tuesday morning. The incident resulted in flames and the closure of a section of the highway.
According to reports, the Danbury Fire Department arrived at the scene near Exit 8 around 8:15 am. They found a commercial utility truck that was pulling tractors on a transport bed engulfed in flames. However, they were able to quickly bring it under control.
The accident involved four vehicles and left four people with minor injuries who were taken to hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported so far.
Following the incident, Connecticut State Police also responded to the scene and are now investigating what led up to this unfortunate event.
The highway was closed for about an hour but has since reopened after authorities cleared up debris from the crash site.
