The accident occurred when an SUV driven by Zachary Elwell, 28, of Oakland crossed the center line and collided with three oncoming vehicles.
Elwell and the driver of the first vehicle were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other drivers involved in the incident did not require medical attention.
