Four women were taken to the hospital. Three women were in critical condition and one woman's condition was stabilized. The truck driver refused treatment.
Four Women Hospitalized After Car Crashes into Semi Truck in Chicago
Early Wednesday morning, a car crashed into a semi truck in the Ashburn neighborhood of Chicago, resulting in four women being rushed to the hospital. According to police reports, the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. when "a car was speeding north on Pulaski when it ran a red light at 79th Street and hit a truck in the intersection."
The four women who were inside the car had to be rescued from the wreckage and were immediately taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Three of them were transported to Christ Medical Center in critical condition while one was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where her condition has since stabilized.
Meanwhile, the driver of the semi truck refused medical attention at the scene.
