Road closure due to fuel spill
Carmel Road North is currently closed from Meadow Road to Western Avenue in Hampden due to an overturned fuel tanker. The incident resulted in the spillage of fuel onto the roadway.
As of now, there are no reports on any injuries caused by the accident. However, authorities have advised drivers to seek alternate routes until further notice.
The closure has affected Western Ave & Carmel Rd N on the Newburgh Side and will remain closed until further updates are provided.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area as emergency services work towards clearing up the scene and reopening roads for public use.
