Head-on collision kills Darrell Davisson, Shane Estes, and Paige Clark

Two deaths and one serious injury
A tragic head-on collision involving three Chevy Silverado pickups resulted in the deaths of two Iowans and serious injuries to another. The incident occurred south of Indianola in Warren County on Friday afternoon.
According to an Iowa State Patrol crash report, Darrell Davisson, 47, from Boxholm was driving north on Highway 69 just north of 128th Ave. at around 5 p.m when his pickup crossed into the southbound lane. He sideswiped one pickup before crashing head-on into a pickup carrying two residents from New Virginia.
The driver of that second pickup, Shane Estes, 38, was seriously injured while his passenger Paige Clark, 29 lost her life in the accident. Estes was flown to Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines for treatment.
Wanda Lydon, aged 67 and from Indianola who drove the third vehicle involved suffered minor injuries and received medical attention.
Davisson and Clark were pronounced dead at the scene.The crash remains under investigation by authorities as they try to determine what caused Davisson's truck to cross over into oncoming traffic resulting in this fatal accident.
