Bicyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Southwest Las Vegas

Las Vegas Metropolitan police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a white pickup truck that was involved in a hit-and-run accident in the southwest Las Vegas area.
The incident occurred on April 16 at around 11 p.m. when a bicyclist was riding west in a marked crosswalk on the south side of the Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road intersection. According to the police, the driver of the white pickup truck was driving south on Rainbow Boulevard and hit the bicyclist. The truck stopped briefly in the roadway before continuing south on Rainbow Boulevard without returning to the scene or notifying the police.
The bicyclist sustained substantial injuries from the collision. The white truck is expected to have left front damage and damage to the left headlight area.
