Henry A. Higgins Jr. dies in collision on Congaree Road

Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of a man who died in a collision near Congaree Road. The incident occurred on May 20th, around 2:30 am, east of Adams Haynes Road. According to Coroner Rutherford, the victim was identified as Henry A. Higgins Jr., aged 27 and from Hopkins, SC.
“We are working with the South Carolina Highway Patrol to fully investigate this accident”, said Coroner Rutherford.
The cause of the collision is yet to be determined by authorities.
