Houston Woman Robin Ellet Dies in Single-Car Crash in Slidell

Louisiana State Police are investigating a fatal single-car crash that occurred on Monday, June 12. The victim has been identified as Robin Ellet, a 52-year-old woman from Houston, Texas.
According to troopers, Ellet was driving westbound on Louisiana Highway 433 near Lank Street around 4:00 p.m. when she veered off the road and hit an asphalt wall. She was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident and suffered fatal injuries.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown and under investigation by authorities.
