Interstate 94 Reopens After Crash Near Minnesota-Wisconsin Border

A section of Interstate 94 near the Minnesota-Wisconsin border has been reopened following a crash that occurred on Thursday morning. The westbound side of I-94 was closed for over an hour but resumed normal traffic flow at approximately 7:45 a.m., according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
The incident involved a semi-truck with a trailer that rolled over on the highway. Fortunately, the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, sustained non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by authorities.
Immediately after the accident took place, traffic cameras captured footage showing significant congestion extending across the bridge spanning St. Croix River.
