Juvenile killed in Darke County crash

The juvenile died from their injuries.
A tragic car accident in Darke County has left a juvenile dead. The incident occurred on Saturday night at around 7 p.m. when authorities were called to the intersection of Jaysville St. Johns and Hollansburg Sampson roads.
According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, "An initial investigation found that a Chevy Colbat driven by a juvenile was traveling eastbound on Hollansburg Sampson Road when they failed to yield at a stop sign at Jaysville St. Johns Road." This resulted in the juvenile's vehicle being hit by a Ford F-150 truck driven by Clifford Strange, 48, from Greenville, who was traveling southbound on Jaysville St. Johns Road.
Strange and his passenger received treatment for their injuries at the scene while the juvenile was treated before being taken to Wayne Health Care where they later died from their injuries.
The identity and age of the deceased have not been released as yet but investigations into what caused this fatal accident are ongoing under the jurisdiction of the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
