Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle (ORV) accident that resulted in the death of a juvenile in Union County. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon near the 5000 block of North Abington Pike in Brownsville.

At approximately 2 p.m., conservation officers were dispatched to the scene of the accident, where they found two victims with injuries. According to officials, the ORV was being operated off-road when it rolled over onto the operator and juvenile passenger.

Both victims were transported to Reid Health Hospital in Richmond, where the juvenile was pronounced dead. The operator's condition is unknown at this time.

Law enforcement officials have stated that the investigation is ongoing, and no alcohol or other impairment is suspected to have played a role in the accident.

The Indiana Conservation Officers urge all ORV operators to take necessary precautions and follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
