Semi driver suffered serious injuries
A semi driver in Kenosha County, Wisconsin suffered serious injuries on Friday morning, June 30th after losing control of his rig and crashing in Somers. According to officials, the incident occurred just before 10:30 a.m. on 7th Street.
After conducting an initial investigation, authorities determined that a semi tractor and trailer were traveling east on 7th Street when it suddenly veered off the roadway for unknown reasons. The vehicle then collided with a utility pole and two trees. As a result of the impact, power lines fell onto the semi, causing both the vehicle and the surrounding field to catch fire.
