Kimberly Halota died, driver of Chevrolet likely broke both legs, passenger had light injuries
On Wednesday, a tragic incident occurred on Route 30 in Salisbury Township, resulting in the death of a Gap woman. The victim, Kimberly Halota, aged 58, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital after being extricated from her Hyundai SUV. The collision took place on the 5000 block of Lincoln Highway East, just west of Route 41.
According to state police reports, Halota pulled out from a stop sign and collided with a Chevrolet SUV around 3:40 a.m. The driver of the Chevrolet sustained likely fractures in both legs while the passenger suffered minor injuries. Both individuals were transported to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, no further information regarding their identities or conditions has been provided by the authorities.
