Crews are working to clear the logs from the road.
According to the Georgetown Police Department, a major accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Front Street and Highmarket Street. The accident involved an overturned log truck with logs scattered across the road. Crews are currently working to clear up the scene.
As of 4:15 p.m., southbound traffic on Fraser Street has been reopened while crews continue their work in clearing out the logs. It is still unclear what caused the truck to overturn or if anyone was injured during this incident.
