Driver and passenger hospitalized, people inside homes not injured
A man lost control of his Mercedes and crashed into a utility pole, parked car, and two homes on Harvey Avenue in Oceanside on Long Island.
According to police reports, the impact was so loud that neighbors thought a plane might have crashed. Fortunately, no one inside the two homes were injured during the accident. However, both driver and passenger of the car were hospitalized due to injuries sustained from the crash.
The identities of those involved in this accident have not been released yet. Police are still investigating what caused this unfortunate event to happen.
