A man was rushed to the hospital after a pickup truck crashed into a tree on Monterey Road in Eads, Tennessee early Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 6 a.m., according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
The pickup truck struck a tree in the 1200 block of Monterey Road.
The victim was immediately taken to Regional One Hospital and is currently listed as being in critical condition. Authorities have not yet released any information about his identity or age.
At this time, it remains unclear what caused the accident and investigations are ongoing. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office has urged anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward and assist them with their investigation.
