Driver in Critical Condition After Single Vehicle Accident in Central

According to a report by BRPROUD, a man was rescued from his vehicle after an accident in the 18000 block of Greenwell Springs Road early on Friday morning. The Central Fire Department responded to the incident at 3:17 a.m. and found that "a single vehicle overturned and ejected the driver who was trapped under the car." It took firefighters 35 minutes to extricate him from the vehicle.
The man received medical attention from EMS before being transported via AirMed to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition, according to CFD officials.
No further details about the cause of the accident or identity of the victim have been released at this time.
