The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office has reported that a man has tragically died as a result of a crash in Lyman on Wednesday afternoon. The victim, identified as 72-year-old William Bryson Austin Jr., passed away at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center following the incident on Highway 292.
According to the coroner, Austin was pronounced dead shortly after 4 p.m. While further details regarding the crash have not been disclosed, a forensic examination is currently underway and pending microscopic analysis.
