Man Dies in Madison Farming Accident While Repairing Tractor Tire

A man has died in Madison, Nebraska due to a farming accident. According to the Madison County Sheriff's Department, officers and Madison Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a farm on Tuesday morning after receiving reports of an accident. The victim was identified as 38-year-old Miguel Cardenas Pena.
Reports suggest that Pena was repairing a large tractor tire when both the tire and rim exploded, causing serious blunt force injuries. Despite life-saving measures being taken by authorities at the scene, Pena passed away from his injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation by officials.
